Committee / James Naylor

James first job after graduating in Law was in Legal Expense Insurance and after three years he moved to a Chartered Loss Adjusting firm Cunningham Hart.

In 1996 James joined Alexander and Alexander insurance brokers in London as a client executive in their recently formed Independent Power Plant (IPP) team providing insurance solutions for clients predominantly in the private sector as they sought to either build new capacity or acquire existing assets as countries privatized utilities or single assets. This gave James experience in many regions, North and South America, Africa, Europe and Asia.

2006 saw James move to Singapore with Aon as Regional Director of construction and power as SE Asia saw increased demand from governments for the private sector to build infrastructure.

James moved to Bowring Marsh in 2011 to head up their Construction Power and Utilities team and in 2014 James Joined Ace (now Chubb) to underwrite their operational power book.

James is a Charted Insurer and Fellow of the Institute of Risk Managers.
