APF 2019 Speakers / Denise Zhukov
Denise Zhukov was appointed as Property, Energy & Tech Claims Manager for Asia Pacific in June 2017. She is responsible for the management of all Property Claims, including Power Generation and Construction portfolio for the region. She also manages some Personal Lines Claims for the region, namely High Net Worth.
Prior to joining Chubb in June 2017, Ms. Zhukov held several Catastrophe Management positions in Asia Pacific with Zurich, specifically responsible for leading and managing the Zurich responses to the Japan Tohoku Earthquake in 2011, the New Zealand Canterbury series of Earthquakes 2010-2011, and the China Tianjin Explosion in August 2015.
Ms. Zhukov has 26 years of Property Claims experience, of which 12 of those have been served with ACEā€™s operation in Australia and Asia. She first joined ACE in 1997 as a senior claims technician, responsible for Australia and New Zealand claims, based in the Sydney offices. In 2002, she moved to the role of Property Claims Manager for Australia and New Zealand, with regional responsibilities for technical referral for SE Asia.
Ms. Zhukov holds a Master of Business (Finance and Financial Planning) from Charles Sturt University, a Bachelor of Business (Insurance) from Charles Sturt University, as well as Fellowship level certification from the Australian Insurance Institute.
