Morten E. Handberg is a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree, specialising in Materials and Surface Treatments. With over 12 years of experience in the international wind power industry, he has gained extensive knowledge
of the complexities of wind turbine blades, including defect causes, consequences, and development risks.

Throughout his career, Mr. Handberg has worked as Project Lead and Blade Expert on numerous projects, including the production of new blade prototypes, qualification of new improved inspection and repair methods, large-scale offshore repair campaigns, definition of quality specifications, repair scopes, and review and validation of repair methods and instructions.

Mr. Handberg has conducted blade defect and integrity assessments of over 1,000 wind turbines and has prepared End of Warranty claim recommendations. His in-depth knowledge and expertise have been invaluable to the success of his projects, and he has consistently demonstrated his ability to deliver quality results.
