Terry started his insurance career as a loss prevention engineer of Lombard Alliance Insurance Company Limited in Hong Kong and subsequently moved into insurance underwriting.
Terry has over 35 years of diverse insurance experience ranging from insurance operations, regional technical services, underwriting of corporate risks and insurance risk management in Asia. He joined CLP Power Hong Kong Limited as Insurance & Claims Manager in 2000 and was promoted to Deputy Director – Insurance & Claims in 2013, leading a team of seasoned insurance and claims specialists providing insurance solutions to the various business groups within the CLP Group (the leading investor and operator in the energy business in Asia-Pacific founded in 1901 with total earnings of USD 1.7bn in 2018 across 5 established markets with total generation capacity of over 24 GW on diversified fuel mix and customer accounts of about 5.6 million).
