APF 2019 Speakers / HyunTae Cho
HyunTae joined Swiss Re Korea in July 2011 as an engineering underwriter and has been working for engineering insurance with risk survey activities. Recently, he has closely involved into offshore wind power projects, Tamra 30MW offshore wind farm and South West 60MW offshore wind farm in Korea not only for insurance program but also technical risk management service including MWS management.
Prior to joining Swiss Re, HyunTae worked at Engineering and Construction companies(Daewoo Engineering, Posco E&C, etc.) for many infrastructure projects (metro, expressway, long span cable stayed/suspension bridge, breakwater structure, etc.) over the 16 years as a senior engineer and also worked for Seoul Metro Line no, 5, construction site as a supervisor.
HyunTae is a citizen of Korea and holds a Bachelor and Master of Civil Engineering from Seoul National University in Korea. And he is a Professional Engineer for soil mechanics and pile foundation, and a Certified Appraiser.
