Alex is a partner in the insurance and reinsurance disputes group in the London office of Herbert Smith Freehills LLP with a focus on acting for corporate policyholders.
Alex specialises in all aspects of insurance claims and associated coverage advice in the natural resources and power sector and has represented owners and contractors on major construction and operational losses, both onshore and offshore. He also handles a broad range of commercial disputes. Alex leads the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) practice within Herbert Smith Freehills and is a CEDR Accredited Mediator. He is a solicitor advocate (Higher Courts Civil Proceedings).
